Numa altura de recolhimento social, a Quinta Vale D. Maria lança o Podcast “Ligados pelo Vinho”. Semanalmente, no Spotify. O vinho será o elo de ligação durante conversas envoltas em histórias e memórias.

No primeiro episódio do Podcast, que será lançado na 5ª feira, dia 16 pelas 19h, Cristiano van Zeller, fundador e responsável pela Quinta Vale D. Maria no grupo Aveleda, conversa com um convidado especial, o seu amigo e uma das lendas vivas do Douro, Dirk Niepoort.

Durante cerca de 30 minutos, Cristiano e Dirk conversam sobre o Douro, a região onde as suas famílias criaram raízes há um par de séculos e onde ambos trabalham desde os primórdios da década de 80. Além de partilharem a sua visão sobre a região, os dois recordam, numa viagem no tempo, alguns dos marcos importantes do Douro, do Vinho do Porto e das suas vidas.

A cumplicidade entre ambos está patente ao longo deste podcast, nomeadamente quando recordam como começou a aventura do novo Douro e, como juntos, contribuíram para aquilo que hoje é a região e os seus vinhos.

Desde a colheita de 1996 que se dedica à produção de vinhos DOC Douro e Vinhos do Porto, sob a visão de Cristiano van Zeller, 14.ª geração de produtores ligados aos vinhos desta região. Os vinhos da Quinta Vale D. Maria refletem o caráter único do Douro, preservando a identidade das vinhas com grande diversidade de castas, orientações solares, densidade de plantação e idade das vinhas. O respeito pela origem é mantido através de uma viticultura sustentável, com respeito pela região e ressaltando a diversidade das castas do Douro. A Quinta Vale D.
